What is Included in a Homeopathic Consultation?
We are here to help you get well. In order to do that, we depend on your co-operation. If we are to make a successful prescription, we must know all the details of your sickness. We must also understand all the features that belong to you as an individual. This includes your reactions to various factors, your past and family history and your mental make up.
This information enables us to select the remedy that removes your sickness. The remedy also makes you well as a whole person.
To begin with first you need to fill the new case form. You need to fill this in the fullest possible detail. Then on the scheduled appointment we go through the interview process.
In order to find out all about you, we shall be asking you many questions. Each one of these questions has a definite meaning and significance for us. Even something that you may think is not connected with your trouble may be the most important factor in deciding the correct homeopathic remedy. That is why we ask you to be free and frank and give us the fullest possible information on each point. We may ask you the same questions again and again. This does not mean that your answers are not clear, or that we did not understand them. We found that by asking some questions repeatedly we are able to get a clearer perception of what your inner experience is, and this is vital to find a good remedy for you.
For future reference new cases and follow ups are video recorded with the patients consent.
Taking cases over the phone and through Skype sessions
Homeopathic consultation focuses solely on the description of the symptoms. Capturing the uniqueness of the patient's individual expression is essential for a homeopath to select a proper treatment.
Over the course of my homeopathic career, a substantial number of cases were taken and successfully treated over the phone or by web conference, even though I never had the opportunity to meet my patients personally.
In this regard, I want to reassure you that whether you take time to travel to San Jose to see me or we converse over the phone or Skype, the quality of your treatment will be the same.
